The Goldichon is a rare Hybrid dog, meaning the cross of 2 purebred dogs of differing breeds; the Golden Retriever and the Bichon Frise. They are excellent family companions being extremely loyal and affectionate as well as athletic and a bit mischievous.

We are not breeding Goldichons currently but hope to have a litter available in the future.

The Goldichon (also known as the Golden Bichon or Golden Frise) is a Hybrid dog, meaning the cross of 2 purebred dogs of differing breeds; the Golden Retriever and Bichon Frise.
The Goldichon is a rare breed. We had our first litter of Goldichons in 1998 and we love them!
The Goldichon is very smart and easily trained. Being laid back and loving in the home, yet very athletic and a bit mischievous. Which is why they love a good game of cat and mouse or slide down the slide or ride the sled behind the four wheeler in the winter with the kids. They are also extremely affectionate and love, love, love people. They love to sleep with the kids or curl up next to the fireplace.
They are generally hypoallergenic, low-non shedding, have a beautiful soft coat and LOVE people. They are extremely affectionate and eager to please.

The Goldichon is generally 25-45 lbs with some being above or below that, with their height being 16-22 inches tall, again with some being above or below that. Their coloring ranges from a rich deep golden to a beautiful cream.
